Well first of all, I don’t think you will find a free CAD program that will do stress analysis. At least not to my knowledge.
For something simple like this, Solidworks is a good choice to create the model and run the stress analysis. For example, attached is a picture of a stress analysis I did for a product that protects a tracking device for pets (the stress analysis is to make sure a dog cannot bite and break the protective housing). The deformation is greatly exaggerated to show how it would bend.
If you look at the chart, the yield strength is shown. Areas where the stress is higher (green areas for example) are at risk of fracture.
More complicated designs with multiple stresses and forces really needs a high end software like Ansys
